Welcome to the liturgy page of our website. Under the umbrella of Liturgical Ministry, you will find many opportunities to become active in our parish. With the firm conviction that liturgy is the pinnacle of prayer and purpose for the Catholic Christian...that liturgy is where church and assembly come together for the common good of the whole world...we invite you to come and become part of our liturgical services. Lend your heart, your hands, your talent and your time in praise and active service to the Lord.
ALTAR SERVER:
After training, an altar server assists the celebrant at the altar during Sunday Mass. Open to all who have received First Holy Communion.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER:
After attending a training class, a minister offers the Body and Blood of Christ to those coming forward to receive communion. Open to all who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
EUCHARIST TO THE HOMEBOUND:
These lay people are sometimes referred to as Eucharistic Ministers. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve by bringing communion to parishioners who reside in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or in their own homes and are unable to attend Mass. They may also assist the priest in distributing the Eucharist at Mass.
If you or someone you know is unable to attend Mass, please contact one of our volunteers so that they can receive the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist.
